Q: for FAANG recruiters, do candidates get a reject stamp after failing even at the later stages?
I advanced to the last stage at Facebook (Meta) around a year ago but failed on my last interview, a combination of not being familiar with the process and not having chemistry with the interviewer.
A friend who is a hiring manager recently recommended me and this time without even a HR call I received a straight up thanks but no thanks email.
Does this mean I’ve been permanently black listed?

I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

1. Don’t post that listing. Will provide too much info on yourself if you’re looking to stay behind the scenes.
2. Screen shot the listing so it can’t be altered
3. Bring to your manager and ask what’s up? If it doesn’t go well then start filling out applications.
Talk with Hr and ask to renegotiate
Apply for the 90k job so they can hire someone for your 65k job lol

Can you post a link to the job so we can see what you are seeing?
You can bring this up and renegotiate but it requires a certain charisma, moxie and persuasive ability.
You should at least try, if you don't completely shit the bed (like yelling at them or threatening them) the worst that happens is they say no and you quiet quit and start looking for a new gig.
They’ll tell you that’s including all the add-on benefits, possible bonus, and really it’s only 55k basic.
