No and I doubt I'll ever try. There's just too many things that can go wrong. Not to mention that even if it does work out, I still think I'd hate having work in common with my partner. I talk about it too much as is and my girlfriend is in an entirely different industry. If we worked together, I feel like it's all we'd ever talk about.
As somebody who dated a coworker and it ended badly and we had to work together for years after, I highly suggest not doing it. I know it can work out, but the odds of success are low and the odds of it being awkward are high.

Big no no. End of story.
I met my husband at my previous job. There were multiple locations. I was transferred to the location he was at and we immediately hit it off and became friends. About a month after he was notified he'd be transferring to a new location. That day he asked me on a date and here we are over eight years later. I just recently was laid off from the company we both worked for. But all things considered I'd never say never you could be holding yourself back from someone really great.
But I do understand the "fear."
