I really want a dog but I can barely take care of myself with an insane workload and demands of everyday life. Trying to find a new job now but jobs can turn toxic suddenly and then I could be back in the same situation.

Makes me wonder how women manage motherhood on top of everything which would be even more demanding than a dog 🥲🥲

I’ve had to step away from social media for my own mental sanity as I have a major issue with comparing myself to peers when it comes to life stages. (Single female, 34, never married, no male prospects, dog mom.) As a result, I feel like I’m doing a disservice to myself professionally as social media is a HUGE communication channel. Any advice on staying away or including it in my life in healthy ways?
