You can look now without quitting your job. See whats out there, but keep it on the down-low in case it's easier and safer to stay where you are. Never a bad time to look.
Why would you wait? It costs you nothing to start looking. If you don't like what you see, stay put. But you can always have your feelers out. While some companies are going through freezes, others are hiring like mad.
Thanks! Haha I never feel prepared. But I just applied and studied as needed. For ex, if I knew I had a technical interview coming up, I would ask the recruiter what I should expect and use 1-2 weeks to prepare. It was easier when I had multiple interviews lined up bc it forced me to study all the time
Connect with people on LinkedIn and you’ll find out about the companies hiring these days.
It never hurts to be looking. Some companies are on hiring freezes. But not all of them.
I think you should wait it out!! It's a tough market right now
It can't hurt to see what's out there. As long as you make the cut before any hiring freezes happen, you should be good.
On the same boat ): really want to leave my company but not sure which companies to apply to..
My hand was forced as my company got sold and I didn’t believe in the direction it was going and I landed a job. Going through it myself and supporting my friends as they find their ways, there is definitely a lot of openings. We are always in demand.
