A friend of mine has just left Infosys BPM (Consultant). He is serving notice period. It's been 1 month and it seems like manager is hell bent to make him work day and night. And this is sudden change. As per him same had happened with one of his colleagues too. Anybody here has any idea about it ? Can he speak up and object to working over time and on weekends ?

I was supposed to join Accenture on 1st October but on the onboarding day I got to know my background check is still pending and upon multiple follow ups with recruiter she told me my background check is clear in the back end but it's not getting updated correctly in the portal hence my onboarding is delayed Can any manager or leadership person guide me how to proceed or fasten the process. Hi fishes good morning. I joined CapG on 26th may 2021 as a Associate consultant.  Till this date i got appraisal as well as promotion also.
But this is not sufficient  for a 5 year experience Data Engineer. So i resigned on 12 th june 2022. My current CTC is 9 lpa and i asked them 15lpa for retain. Everything is fine from my Capgemini manager and client manager. Only i am expecting HR Call and that will happen next week as my manager said. Any suggestion what will be next CTC ? Thanks All
