Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?

My starting salary was 44,000 …… in 2001
You can do better.
Slowdown, everyone. $42,000 isn’t a pile of money, but real estate is moderately affordable and taxes are light.
Is this a role you like? Do you see a future? Is there advanced education you plan to achieve to advance yourself.
What I am getting at is you need a strategy with at least 4 layers:
Personal objectives
Financial objectives
Professional objectives
Intrinsic objectives.
Map them out on a timeline and ID your ideal, ok, and minimums. Then connect the dots between what you make now, need to make, and need to do to get closer to the ideal portion, understanding a lot will fall under OK.
So many professionals lack a life strategy, yet blab about strategy all day.
Happy to walk you through this in a DM. It’s really not that hard and has helped me decide where in the country to live, the house to buy, the firm to work for and where to invest my money.
Rising Star
Most people can't afford to live alone/without roommates with their first job. Just learn as much as you can and make sure not to get complacent - always be looking for how to better your resume and your career trajectory
That seems really low. I started at $56k in Dallas in 2016
Jump after a few months, youre getting low balled
$42,000 probably isn't a living salary in Dallas if you are wanting to live on your own but you could get a roommate to split your bills with.
I lived with roommates until I was 30 🤷🏼♀️ Saving money while you’re young will set you up for a comfortable life
It’s not enough to live off of anywhere nowadays
I lived in Dallas when I started out but always had a roommate, that’s the only thing that made it doable. You can find a two bed/two bath in the Village for about 1500. Then be frugal in the rest of your life. Most importantly, save as much as you can for retirement. Time is on your side.
