I recently submitted an application to Wingstop for an AGM or GM position. A friend that knows my history suggested I apply. I was sent a text message by someone claiming to be in their corporate office. I was immediately just qualified from even obtaining an interview because I have a tattoo below my elbow. I think this is really frustrating. I know people that work for them as management they have full sleeves. What gives?

I’m a first year analyst in RFA with deloitte and have really hated my experience so far. Both my projects have been a lot longer than they stated and I have learned 0 skills from either of them. I’m really just doing the same task every day and I feel like my undergrad degree is going to waste. Heard from recruiter that my onsite feedback was very strong and hiring manager thought I would be a great fit, but they went ahead with an internal candidate doing similar role with an adjacent team.

She mentioned that there is another very similar role open, and she will speak to the recruiter of that role about me. Has anyone seen that work or was she being nice? If not, I might as well apply to this new role online and give it a shot. TIA
