I removed my college graduation date from my resume. I feel like this is pretty common these days. My question is, is it legal for employers to ask me what year I graduated during an interview? Isn't this kind of like asking someone their age, which is illegal.

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?

Can someone help me understand why people are pumping crazy money into DoorDash and AirBnb but didn’t go equally Gaga for Palantir?
Don’t get me wrong, I like DD and Airbnb, but the $100+/share seems odd to me given that both are susceptible to regulatory and overall consumer confidence. I was able to buy into PLTR for $11/ share fwiw and think that company has better long-term upside prospects.
But again, would love to better understand the DASH and ABNB mania. Feel like I’m missing something
