General Dynamics Information Technology I see job postings for cybersecurity analysts and similar roles at GDIT in Tampa but the postings all say they require an active security clearance, usually secret or higher. How strictly is that requirement adhered to?

I haven't applied to these roles because I don't have a clearance. Many other companies require the ability to obtain a clearance and let you work on an interim clearance while going through the official process.

Am I interpreting the clearance requirement sto literally?
