Hi - I have donations given to Team Everest for Nov 2021 with receipt. But IBM AskHR says no support for donations tax exemption on Form 16. Thus, the donation isn't deducted on my Form 16. Can I now update the donation directly on E-filing.gov u/s 80G for exemption or will that cause an issue ? IBM

That's a great move to get other passive long term investment going at this young age. Really a great plan. I keep saying it, 401k is never enough for serious people.
My little advise will be that you spread to up to 4 different sectors. I will recommend real estate investment trust, some good shares ( have a PAMM account), invest in precious metals, and invest a little in the future (cryptocurrency and other digital related assets).
I commend you and your wife to be investing this amount at your age. My advice would be to diversify beyond the current strategy of small caps, growth and value funds. This is a diversification strategy, but only within the stock market. I would look at a long-term retirement savings product where you get risk-free compound growth mirroring the stock market plus life insurance, living benefits, the ability to borrow against your accumulated funds and provide a stream of income over your lifetime.
