I think tech might be the only industry more poorly managed than the law. Only because they have an even greater concentration of status obsessed loser nerds with poor social and leadership skills.

I have worked in both tech and law and will have to agree (with an asterisk)

*The influx of dude bro/VC adjacent types has been a scourge on the industry and have created some especially hostile environments; however, I will take a genuine tech nerd over BL attorney any day. At least the former just to build cool stuff and make discoveries at the end of the day 🤷🏻‍♂️

Someone around here posted that they envied how much more these tech bros made more than him, then again, remember the movie they made about Zuck? No matter how much money you make, the ick associated with the tech industry will never come off.

Fact. And whatever they do - no matter how poorly - they think it’s cutting edge and “market”.

We are dinosaurs in may aspects. Also we have to deal associates, counsels and junior partners who think they are the chuck norris of the industry. I still don’t like most tech bros.

#stepuptothetable is about helping local restaurants who are struggling during these times. I have seen numerous linkedin posts with videos where people challenge each other to step up to the table & buy meals & gift cards from their community restaurants. A great way for those of us who are more fortunate to support business & keep people employed.
