I’m at Withum, a public accounting firm, and the company is currently hiring a range of positions from entry-level staff accountants (audit and tax) with a start date of November 2023 to senior managers.
Withum is ranked 22 in the nation by INSIDE Public Accounting and also received many other accolades (Forbes, Fortune, Vault, etc.). I want to help people out, so if you are interested, please shoot me a message!

I’ve been with KPMG for a few years and moved once internally so I need to ‘start from scratch’ to get promoted to senior associate so I’m exploring external opportunities.

When should a stub start getting worried about not having much work and low billable hours?
I’ve asked for work but no luck. I know they say this is normal for a stub but when should I start getting worried and consider looking for exit options? Fyi, I like my practice group, so I don’t want to change to a different group within my firm, hence would have to lateral, if I have to. Also, other co-1st years are churning in high hours.

I don’t think people understand what the difference between conservative and liberal judicial philosophies are. Liberal judges see the Constitution as guidelines for the court to interpret and then cement things into law that they deem reflect the current mood of the day, essentially serving as a tool for policymaking outside of the legislative branch. Conservative judges see their role as interpreting what is explicitly in the Constitution and that there are explicit constraints in it (cont’d)
