I wanted to share my job search experience honestly.

I’ve applied to 300+ companies through Indeed and LinkedIn, but unfortunately, I’m still struggling to secure a job. In most cases, I don’t even receive a callback or any response, which can be quite discouraging.

There was one opportunity where I cleared the interview process and was hopeful, but even then, I wasn’t hired in the end. Situations like these make the process even more challenging and confusing.

Folks who do hiring, what do you think of adopting the following question in future interviews?

“Evidence suggests that teams that include a variety of perspectives and backgrounds will often produce more creative solutions and catch mistakes earlier. What background or experiences do you bring that will help broaden the perspective of our team?”

Gave a verbal yes to Salesforce. Offer letter needs to be signed by next week…

Been in sales for 7 years (door to door,telecom,BDR,) I interviewed for a closing position and after submitting a demo presentation and 2 mock emails they have moved be forward for the last “wrap up call”. Any tips and advice for this?

Hey fishes, completed 3 tech rounds at Bosch.
Last tech + managerial round was on 10th Nov. Got HR call on 17th Nov. Told my expected package and she didn't seem to have any issue. On 22nd Nov, got a call from the consultant at taggd who has been arranging all my interviews. Told my expected CTC and she seemed a bit surprised but didn't negotiate and asked if I have any other offers? I asked when can I expected the OL, she said within a week but didn't take any documents. Can I expect the OL?

Completed all the interviews and had positive feedback but before the offer I spoke with the recruiter (third party) and asked them if I can get to a certain compensation number as I might have couple other offers around that number but they got back saying the firm has decided to move on as they cannot match it. What can I do now? Still interested in the role.

I'm in the final round of interviews for two internal positions - both vertical. One has FTE's (my first such experience) and the other a much broader scope vs my current role

I had interviewed externally for a role on par w the internal roles, at a smaller and less established company. They confirmed +20% was in their range

How do I push back on my company if they offer less than that, if I do want one of those roles? Without a pay scale, what is the best way to approach?

People with experience with panel interviews/super day/multiple on site interviews within the same day: how long did it take to hear back? Since company interviewing all final stage candidates in one day it should be quick…

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ?
