First round phone interview coming up. What should I expect?

Hi everyone,
One of my friends, he made a switch just 6 months back hoping he would get a better work environment a better package, but now he is just frustrated with the working environment, being a backend developer he has been asked to just fix bugs for almost 5 months now and that too in javascript without any KTs or any other trainings when he clearly did mention in the interview that he does not have prior knowledge on javascript.

What should he do? Any suggestions?

I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(

I have cleared technical interview at @EXL and have also given another round of interview with VP.

Q1. How long does the VP round feedback take normally?
Q2. What are the next rounds/discussion to expect if I clear this round?
Q3. What is the level and salary that I should expect for a BI developer role at 6 years experience?

Anything else that I should keep in mind during the interview process that helps me land better role/salary? TIA.

I recently just finished my interview with Accenture and is looking very promising. We have yet discuss salary, I would like to know other people's salary who work in the Industry X so that I'm not getting low-balled. I currently work at HDR inc. making 69K (Salary).

Does reaching out to HR at consulting firms improve my chances of getting a first interview? If so, how should I approach that?

Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

I will be relocating out of state from NY to FL in December. My current role does not allow flexibility to work remote and our offices in FL have no tech roles for transfer. I have 5+ YOE as a product owner in M&E and looking to break into the Digital space as a PM. Hello fishes, I gave an interview with intelsat 5 business days ago and still haven't heard any feedback. The recruiter never called and sent an email invite for the 1st round and I had a 20minute call with the interviewer. Can I still wait for the feedback or let it go?

Is there anyone who completed the last SHL test and is waiting for the result or call back from HR. For me it's almost a week now after completing the last SHL test but no reply from HR.

Yoga folks! I used to do yoga and exercise frequently. Things happened, getting back on the wagon. Have an offer from AWS for an L7 Principal PMT role: $215k base + $275k sign on bonus for Year 1 and $215k for year 2 + 5100 RSUs (@ $130 / share). This is the initial offer; where is there room for negotiation? Base or Sign on Bonus or RSUs? I realize it's a good offer, but I'm looking for: $225k base + existing sign on + 5500 RSUs. Does that sound like a decent counter?
