Sorry to hear that. The obvious thing would be to take it to upper management, but if you say there's no one to appeal to that's not feasible. You could get a consultation with an employment attorney and see what your legal options are. But depending on where you live, it might be perfectly legal to let you go for any reason. Your best approach is to get busy finding another job and put the horrible experience behind you.
That's really awful, I'm so sorry to hear that. Do you have any proof that the accusations she was making were false? This almost sounds like employment lawyer territory. It might not go anywhere, but you can find out for sure.
That can depend on where you live. Most states in the US are at-will states and basically can let somebody go for whatever reason. There can be company-specific polices that need to be followed. Unless the accusations were discriminatory or retaliatory, it can be hard to make a case, unfortunately.
