I was promoted from A to SA last year, and I wanted to understand if there’s any possibility of progression or promotion this year. While I know a level upgrade may or may not be feasible, I’m particularly keen on increasing compensation, as my salary is currently below the range. Since I’ve been a critical resource for the project, I’m hoping for a good hike this cycle.

Would it be difficult to switch from environmental litigation to environmental regulatory work? I’ve been at my firm now for a little over a year and it is all litigation. The environmental regulatory job postings I’ve seen require at least a few years of regulatory work. I am not sure how to make that transition. Any thoughts?

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting.
