Hi, did anybody ever experience wrong tax calculations by JPMC Payroll/tax team ? Or is there any specific month where they deduct more tax. Huge amount of tax deduction is done for Oct payout. From my CA’s calculation the amount deducted by JPMC team looks wrong. Anybody experienced this?

Im so sorry that happened to you. Unfortunately, companies get preferential treatment and, as a result, are able to get away with some pretty awful treatment of employees... Hang in there and take care of yourself. Even if they start rehiring, I would suggest looking to work anywhere else. They don't deserve you or the others they are treating this way.
That is very thoughtful of you to say, much appreciated.

If you can prove that you were fired for participating in a protected concerted activity, report it to the DOL/NLRB. But you'd better have plenty of evidence.
Thank you. I have/am.
What is a protected concerted activity?
Chief
Discussing working conditions and pay with coworkers, primarily, particularly with an eye toward working together to improve them -- potentially by unionizing.

Yeah, I'm learning, the hard way.
It’ll work out man. Very stressful for sure. I didn’t work during Covid for a year. And this time I had an accident and it’s been a year too. I’m alive. Nothing is stable unless it’s your own. Or nursing. Great pay and Crrtication is cheap

So you got fired for trying to organize your colleagues?

Hmmm... not sure that qualifies as protected concerted activity, unless you were attempting to address conditions at work that led to mental health struggles. Good luck with that.
If employers can provide a business justification for the layoffs such as restructuring, reduced head count, etc, then you are still a potential candidate for a layoff. If you can prove that you were specifically targeted solely based on your participation for the CPA, then you can challenge in court. However, you have the burden of proof to bring this action.
In general, the economy is in a bad state. The stock market is setting record highs with more people unable to enter the workforce from college and people getting pushed out due to changes in technology, higher competition, or efficiency/company finances. I try to be positive in my work environment and if I become dissatisfied, I'd search for another job while maintaining my employment.
Salary people aren't the sameas hourly people.salary people always look at trying to get rid of the highest paying hourly people they look out for the company
I was terminated as subcontractor for the US government as CSR on May 26 just after memorial day. I have been looking for jobs applied to several and declined by 9 employers but still trying. I had a job interview on Tuesday
It’s the USA, they can fire you for anything even FMLA can’t protect you.
