Hi All, I recently found a helpful way to earn some extra money without putting in too much effort. Focus groups are a great side hustle to do in your free time. I’ve been using L&E Research to find and apply to new studies. Hope this helps! "I think a lot of people lead better online than they do in real life." Spot on. It holds true across all social media - everyone presents a better, glamorized version of themselves than they actually are in real life. I just roll my eyes and carry on with my day. Calling it out won't do anything good.

I second that, completely agree. You’ve put my thoughts into words there!
Some people hide behind the screen and become a different person. They're trying to sell themselves on LinkedIn, but you know their true self. They must have their reasons to deny the request though. Hopefully they can come to an agreement.
Yes, I have seen that too. Some people hide behind their online presence because it looks good, but in person they do not live it. It makes you question their authenticity.
It's possible the person's LinkedIn posts are written by someone else, and they have no idea what's in them. A lot of the log rolling on LinkedIn is just stock upbeat corporate gibberish. People should be judged not on that, but on what they actually do in the real world day by day. And if you're putting out a public image of being compassionate but you're not that way in reality, you're just not much of a leader. Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do about it, calling it out probably won't change anything.
Public image can be so different from day-to-day reality. If someone’s online brand is compassionate but their actions are not, that is a leadership gap.
