I went through 3 rounds of interviews at Providence Healdsburg/Petaluma. The first 2 were great and the hiring manager who would've been my supervisor was awesome. Come the 3rd round, I expected it as more than a formality as she gave me a tour of the hospital, we had coffee, and then meet 'leadership' virtually. It was an interrogation, and ultimately, I wad told neither I nor anyone else was selected.
Just heard they eliminated the Director as well. Providence SUCKS! Month of my life gone!

What's a good place to live to access both downtown and Argonne national lab in Lemont? I live on the far north side of Chicago now, but my partner got a new job and it would be an hour each way by car to commute for him. I work downtown along the red line. Looking for somewhere affordable, not interested in night life or anything but groceries and transit need to be 10 minute walk or less and be safe.
