I work as In-House Paralegal and my company has mostly remote workers. Once hired, we ship a MacBook, a 24" monitor, and necessary adapters/cables. I have sent out multiple demand letters (via email and certified mail, along with multiple follow-up emails) to multiple previous employees for the return of the property, but more often than not, we do not get it back. Does any one have any advice on how to get company property back? My attorney says we cannot deduct from their final paycheck.
