Hi,
I have joined ACTI a month back in Kolkata in L9. I wanted to opt for Company Car Lease policy just to save TAX but finding it too complicated.
I had raised queries to payrole and they have replied with a suggestion to think twice before opting for this benifit.
What do you all suggest, who have already opted for it?Accenture

Can someone please explain why this exists in my paylslip, is it good or bad from tax perspective and shall I ask my HR to decrease it???

Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Lakeshore east?

Lakeshore East
No clue why everyone is suggesting lakeshore east, aka the least neighborhoody neighborhood in Chicago.
If you want high rises with 30% occupancy bc all the units are owned by foreign investors, yeah lakeshore east is your jam. But there is nothing to do there otherwise.
Cool, one shopping center surrounded by empty high rise buildings! Exactly what I look for in a neighborhood
came here to say Lakeshore East 😄
Lakeshore East is convenient and the apartment buildings are certainly nice but it is completely without soul. Really depends on what you value.
South Loop is an option as well~ multiple buses that go up and down Michigan directly
South Loop
Lakeview, straight shot down the lakefront, pick your method of transport.
- How old are you?
- Are you married, single, kids, etc? Guessing no kids if you're looking at one-bedrooms?
- Do you have a dog?
- Do you have a car?

If you like good food, lower prices (compared to west loop at least) but don't want to go full hipster, check out things off the California / Western blue line stops of Logan Square / Bucktown.

I guess it depends on how far down randolph we're talking, but I used to walk to the Aon center from the Washington stop for a little while and it wasn't too bad. You can cut through Block 37 so you're only looking at like 3 blocks outside. If OP is more on the Michigan side of the park then even easier.
South Loop. Some nice lofts on and around Michigan Avenue.
South loop is a good option. Check out the prairie district neighborhood for quick access to the lake.
Bucktown?
