Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

What is your reason for leaving consulting that you tell companies interviewing you? I’m not sure I want to use burnout as a reason and would defer to travel but that is nonexistent.
About to lateral to another V10 firm, being brought by two partners moving there from my current firm and doing transactional PE work. Would welcome any tips on who to speak to (and when) to negotiate signing bonus/class year bump. HR? Interviewing partners? And also, what is reasonable to ask without starting on the wrong foot?

McK 🐠, I received an offer to join as an Associate (yay!). Is it normal to have a fixed dollar performance bonus in the contract, i.e. you may be eligible for $xk (or more or less pending performance)? And is 10% too low? TIA McKinsey & Company
Apologies for the dumb question but what exactly does partner mean in today’s world? In olden times it would have meant you were a partial owner right? Does it still? Or does it just mean extra highly paid employee with a lot of leadership responsibilities? We don’t use the term at Accenture of course since we’re public, but I’m curious what it really means at b4 or MBB, beyond just extra high paychecks? Are there actual partner benefits, like owning private shares of the company?
Can any Deloitte fish tell me about the Application & Program Analyst position? I’d love to chat and a possible referral
Hi guys, I have an offer from Axtria. Can you please let me know the work culture and job security in this organization. I know WLB is a concern here but is it worth puting in that much effort. Also, have not heard good reviews about management.
Just got fired from RSM. I have a final interview tomorrow, do I have to disclose this information to my new employer?
I’ve heard the recruiting strategy at lots of firms is changing from MBA to experienced hires and PHDs. I see that is true at MBB but what about Big 4 and smaller firms?
I'm in my 30s and have spent 10+ years in the industry on production/account related fields. I have a good job that pays ok, but I'm struggling to find the drive I once had. I feel like I have zero love left for advertising and if I have to deal with one more of client's completely unrealistic asks I'll snap. Anyone out there have any recommendations on how to handle burnout if you are someone who's life has always been very career driven?
Thank you notes after an interview with ECD / GCD / whoever the final decision maker is - are these done still? Haven't interviewed in a long time and unsure of it's still important (I'm freelance).
Average end of year bonus for C1 and C2?

High(ish) performing staff to senior in transfer pricing. What can I expect in terms of raise?
I really don’t understand why some employers are going to force employees back in the office after they’ve proven to work just fine fully remote for almost 2 years. Is this worth losing employees over?
Thoughts on exiting MBB to revolut? Seems like culture there isn't great, but RSUs could make it worth it?
Wonder what the discrepancy in salary was between these sexual predators and their prey... #timesup
When you’re on point to lead a call, and your manager is on the call, is it normal for them to constantly “add points”/interrupt you every minute? I’ve had a couple managers and noticed that every one of them that did this, didn’t add any value beyond what I was saying most of the time. On the contrary, when I had SMs or MDs on the call, they never interrupted.
Culture question. I’ve always been environment where you get your work done, bill your hours, you’re good. This new job is focused on hours in the office. Is this normal? More in comments
