That’s pretty much it in the area. Only other places are Equinox in the Loop, Orangetheory, and a few CrossFit and Boxing gyms.
Less than 50 in Chicago is not feasible unless you’re looking for the YMCA
Xsport is not that bad, except it’s crowded as hell
Current xsport goer on state and it’s the worst Xsport in IL. I’ve been to all of them. The people there are ignorant monkies that dont clean after themselves and put weights back. The front desk and leasing is even worse. Id take La Fitness south loop > xsport
We need a chicago athletic club down here 😡
I go to the west loop Chicago athletic club and it’s $69 a month for me
Fit results!! 100%
What is it monthly?
Blink Fitness on Archer and Ashland is great for the price if you’re willing to commute out a bit (10 mins)
I go to XSport. Definitely not the greatest gym but for the price and location (relative to where I live) it’s fine.
Yeah the one on state
Lakeview resident - I did XSport for about a year at ~$45 and it was fine, just crowded if you went after work (before work was decent). Switched to CAC for almost double the monthly price ($81) but it was bc I needed a pool at the time and Xsport had it closed. CAC is WAY nicer and WAY less crowded so I’ll def stay here despite the higher price.
I went to LPAC before and loved it. Unfortunately CAC doesnt have a location near me.
When I lived in the South Loop I had no issues with Xsport. I’d avoid the one off North Ave in Old Town
