I worked at First Advantagefor over a year, but even after more than a year of leaving, I have not received my experience letter or FNF settlement and received answer with bad manners. The company cites a clause restricting employees from joining competitors, yet they themselves hire from the same competitors a clear double standard. Denying basic exit documents and settlements is unprofessional and creates unnecessary hardship. Future candidates should be aware of these practices before joining

Yikes! Some days, I just can’t stand my job

I went from meeting HR to the head of my department I’d be working for in 3 days. This seems fast. Does it to anyone else? It’s a super fast growing fin tech. I think they may just need bodies.

I joined a new team and have noticed something off with my Director over the last months (slurring speech, no show to calls or even full days of work). I finally asked a colleague about it today because I’m concerned about my Director. She confirmed that she’s noticed the same over the last few years, but no one ever says anything. In confidence she told me she can often smell alcohol. How can I help? I feel helpless. I’ve already lost someone to addiction and I can’t ignore this. Any advice?
