I would like to know how is the culture in reliance jio platform division ?Do they fire/layoff employees if the employee didn't get much work in last 6 months in jio?I am talking about a profile who is on a manager level. Jio Platforms Limited

There has been zero layoff by Jio or even Reliance till now! Their statement to layoffs is very clear by management , while joining you’re part of a family and family doesn’t remove any member on its own, People themselve can leave but they won’t fire! This is written in shared letter or their intial tutorials. But ofcourse if you’re involved in some policy violations, then some kind of penalties or action can be taken against you but that’s completely depends on activity (normally this doesn’t happen as people know company policies very well!)
Even in covid, there were no salary cuts. Salary was provided on time each month.
Also, people complaining about hike n all, so hike depends on your performance and hierarchy and dept you’re in. People with less YOE but good performance and skills also get hike of more than 30%!

They usually don't fire. They make you stay stagnant and no hikes in salary make you think about leaving. In the worst-case scenario, you can try shifting internally to other verticals. In the very rare cases I heard they also do layoffs.
PIP depends on your manager. If he doesn't mind what you are doing then there is no issue. Butyl, in the end, your team's performance will be less and it reflect in appraisals.
