I'd love some advice on the best way to exit my company.

I start a new job in a month and a half. I have 2 weeks of approved PTO (it's unlimited, no payouts) towards the end of that window. Am I crazy for hoping I can put a month and a half heads up, work three days when I get back, and still get paid for the time? I've been at the company for 4+ years, am a valued asset, they're short staffed, I've hardly taken any PTO this year, etc. Any advice is welcome.

Hi fishies 🐠 I’m an Art Director that’s trying to transition over to UX Design. I have experience building websites and some previous freelance work doing some UI/UX. What’s the best route to transition over and would I need to apply for entry level roles? Does an AD role with a UI/UX focus even exist?
