A friend of mine works with TCS as an Analyst, his base location is Bengaluru but he is been working from his hometown in Lucknow since the first COVID lockdown. Now he is being asked by his team to work from Ahmedabad, where his direct supervisor (manager) is working from. In this case, according to TCS talent policies, what is the procedure and the benefits that he can avail, as part of project initiated relocation? Also, how long it takes to get base location changed through HR in TCS?

My amazing boss is leaving. They have been a champion for me and the best leader I’ve ever had. I am devastated. I’ve usually had ok to not great managers so have never experienced this feeling before. It’s like im going through the stages of grief. Having a great leader has been like oxygen. The difference for my mental health is like night and day. I remember how my life was when I had a not great manager and I just can’t go back to that. Any words of wisdom or advice? Do you usually do 20-minute, 30-minute, 45-minute or 1-hour Peloton classes? Before I got one, I felt like I needed at least an hour to get a good workout. But I’ve found 30- and even 20-minute Peloton classes to be really satisfying and tiring. I am worried though about being lulled into doing less.

Hi, this is a bit early but thought y’all might have some good insight. I’m exiting my current startup & have two offers on the table 1. A successful small startup in NYC doing PE/niche executive recruiting and 2. a fairly reputable PE consulting group in Austin. I’m going through the recruitment process at McKinsey for a middle/back office role (capabilities for a really cool space) but by the time I hear back, one of my offers won’t be on the table.
