How is the onboarding process? Virtual or do we need to visit the office on the first day.

Is free cab transport is provided ? How people from far distance are managing to commute to office?

I lateraled into a niche practice group in Sept 2021. I also have a 1 year old and have been mostly remote since I started - but have been keeping busy tracking towards 2400-2500 hours. That said getting to know people only remote has been kind of awkward at times (email only can be tough to decipher) although as a working mom the pros vastly outweigh the cons. I have asked from my HR so ge mentioned please be ready,You MAY need to work from office as per business requirements.

Do you remember when “office closed due to inclement weather” meant you had an easy day at home because remote wasn’t a thing yet? Now with a foot of snow coming, office closed means wfh with no backup childcare available….

The second project/client they tagged asking me to wrok on FTP L1 Monitoring and t-shoot.

I was forcefully released from HCL services saying my BGV is not clear and was released the very same day. Now I am being asked to pay for basic salary of 89 days notice period +18% GST.. WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP. I am being asked to pay 1,65,000/- and I was forced to leave HCL in 22 days.
