The idea of living your everyday like your last is garbage.
We are all limited by certain factors, be it money, family, time or age.
You can't live everyday as your last not even without regrets, but you sure can live everyday happily.
I'm miserable right now, so working on changing it :)

From my own personal experience. I feel I have wasted so many precious moments, memories in the pursuit of wanting to have something to feel accomplished. And now today when I feel I have somewhat got what I have wanted, I really desperately try to re live the moments which are long gone. The only thing I get is this empty feeling of being a king of nothing. What I want to convey is, don't forget to live, no matter how bad the situation is. Things definitely gets better but the cost of lost time, moments, is unfathomable and cannot be recovered no matter what.

OP looks depressed; just my 2 cents.
Work can get tough at times. Just know this, a big4 will replace you within a week if you dropped dead at office one fine day and it would be BAU in no time.
Now that you have this clarity/perspective, let this change the way you look at work and other priorities. I hope you set them straight.

At what amount in the bank, would you even consider retiring?
I guess 2cr doesn't get you shit in metro cities these days. So what's your number, realistically. 4 cr, 5 cr, 7.5 cr($1mill) or you wouldn't think of retiring untill 60, irrespective of your bank balance?
I know there will be a lot of variables, like dependants etc. but I'm trying to gauge what the range is for most people.

PF Related

I joined a new company recently, there PF migration is in progress from Trust based to Govt Based.

I got salary today. In the payslip the PF number mentioned is different from what I can see in the EPFO portal.

Is this something to worry about?
