I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Yes every company does this
BTW, which company is this ..seems to be good with zero variable.
The author is asking about PF in fixed component. My company also includes Gratuity as fixed component. Wipro Zindabad.
yes all of them does this
99% company do this.. just to inflate the CTC.. that's why there's so much difference in in-hand salary..
Just curious - what is your tech stack and yoe?
Tech BA , Total exp 11 relevant 6.
All companies do this but don't mention in ctc.
This employer honestly has mentioned it explicitly in ctc
Accenture has employer and employee both of PF contributions included as part of offer. This is better!
They are also including the insurance premiums in CTC!! I'm seeing this for the first time.
Yes of course, CTC means Cost To Company. They will deposit that amount in your PF. So its right to add it in CTC.
