Any actually good prime day deals to grab?
Hello Sharks, Hope all are doing good,
I am a associate java developer having knowledge and experience on Java, Spring mvc, Spring boot, Hibernate, MySQL. Recently I have joined another IT company. The surprising thing is they are providing training on Scala Programming language .I don't have any knowledge about Scala Programming, Slick and Postgresql. Is Scala developer having good future and demand. Can I better to try for other company to stay in java technology only. EY Infosys Cognizant

I think it’s more Tech in Fins.
Depends on what the company is doing. It can be a FinTech company using Salesforce. Banks are usually not considered FinTech
lol banks are NOT a fintech
Honestly , say what you want ,and let the recipient conclude if you are blowing smoke or have substance to back up your statements.
Depends who you’re talking to I guess lol
you can worst they can say its not fintech but the experience still applies
That is not Fin Tech. Salesforce is a valuable skill of software. It is not cutting edge tech that will make payments faster or cheaper. If you know how to use a pivot table would you say you code?
I would suggest tailoring your resume with words around the job description. If you have skills or knowledge of something list it.
What if you're a developer? Definitely writing code in Apex, LWC etc
At this point, any big bank operates like tech companies, building apps & managing engineering teams. I think you work in fintech
What‘s the alternative lingo you’d consider using?
