If you suffer from mixed anxiety and depression, have you found a medication that helps? Any positive experiences with the least amount of side effects?

Its so different for everyone and as lame as it sounds, diet, exercise, limited alcohol and mindfulness are usually key to anything really working. Your psych can do a “genesight” test which can tell you which meds are more likely to work. Its not 100% at all but its probably better than shooting in the dark (people have mixed strong opinions on genesight). Also maybe worth getting your MFTHR and COMT genes tested and as anxiety/depression are also a byproduct of that, genesite does that . Also, if its in your budget Function health allows you to test for everything with a flat $500 HSA eligible fee to rule out vitamin deficiencies or other issues. Ask about the ease of getting off any meds before you start too, some are more addictive then others. Lastly, i love a psych np over a psychatrist, then tend to have way more time to devote to you. Good luck and be kind to yourself :-)

Community, I’ve been meeting with a lot of people regarding next steps in my career. One of the best pieces of advice I received is to avoid micro-managing executive staff (agency leadership), as it puts downward and unwelcome pressure on people’s managers and ultimately oneself. Based on your experience in the last 2 years are there:
- Agencies you would steer clear from because their leadership micromanages
- Agencies you would recommend because their leadership gives you room to grow

Thx 🙏🏼

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?
