What do you tell your boss when you are sick? Have Covid and my temp hasn’t gotten below 101 in 2 days. I informed the partner I work with that I am very ill, but I keep getting ASAP projects. Do I just tell him I cannot do it?

No one really talks about what to do once you get Covid-19. Have companies made an effort to proactively educate employees, or create a process to help employees report their illness with next steps?

My employers' CEO just announced that they just received $7 million from investors. He wants to use that money to offer incentives to employees that hussle and drive more revenue for the company. We're not sure what those incentives look like yet, but here are some post-announcement rumors from my co-workers:

Cash bonuses, raises, profit-sharing, company equity, 401k match, etc.

I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. What is the average salary for an account manager in employee benefits at brokers firm? And what about a senior account manager salary? I have 7 years of experience in the health insurance industry. I want to see if I’m on track or if it would be out of line to ask for a raise.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most, how pissed would you be if you were a supervisor and you had a new direct report on your team with a higher salary than you? The years of experience are the same, but you have 3 designations (they have 0), you have 3 licenses (they have just 2), they have little to no experience with technical complex claims (you have hundreds), and you have 3 years in management (they have 0).
