So, I started watching “Limitless” with Chris Hemsworth. Apparently, he found out he carries both genes for dementia which puts him at a higher risk. So the series is about him changing things in his life for longevity. The third episode is about fasting and he fasts for 4 days until the day he has to hunt for his food. Does anyone in healthcare have thoughts on this type of fasting? I know it is done in some cultures and religions, but to what extent?

Do I have any options here. Took on a new job- asked hiring manager and hr multiple times to confirm my new hours they said 830-5 and occasional late fri check out which was like once a month. I’m now doing multiple calls outside of that, and for April- may I need to do hk/India daily stand ups and my vp told me the only time that works for both is 11 pm or 4 am. Daily. Can I quit and fight to get unemployment for being fired . This has become a my health issue.

So, my HCM experience was SAP thereafter my experience has been with specialized application that serve different HR functions - e.g Clearcompany, Orange, Goco, JazzHR . I see jobs with Workday experience required. Is there a certification out there for Workday. I personally have no doubt of me picking up Workday because of knowing and Implementing SAP/HR and working with the specialized applications...and being in software development but if it helps to "qualify me in" I would do it.

Evaluating an offer from EY. I would be joining at Senior 1 level in their Workforce Advisory practice (specifically, learning team). I have 3.5 YOE in Deloitte in the same practice (offshore USI team in India).
They are offering $70k CAD. I have an MBA and live in Toronto. I feel this offer is very much on the lower end - even despite the upcoming recession etc.

He called me this afternoon basically saying he was being put on a PIP, this is after the company had said a few times he was not learning the role fast enough, only executing duties at about a 20% accuracy week 1 of PIP, week 2 60%, now we are at week 3 back to 50% (UA role, has been there since June). Boss said significant improvement is needed by next Friday. Looking for tips, suggestions, should he already start looking elsewhere? He loves this new job.
