HCL Technologies HR and I agreed to 14LPA salary for 3YOE (DE role) and she told me she needs to get approval and will then roll off the offer in 2-3 days. (But in the managerial round, manager was okay with it and forwarded my application to the HR round). She did not request for any documents. Is it possible that she decided not to go forward because of the compensation? I don’t want to sit hoping for the offer..

I would do it as long as I had time off on Monday and Tuesday.

Yeah, I’d take that deal in a second. Double the money is life-changing, and having Monday/Tuesday off actually sounds better than the usual weekend, grocery stores empty, gyms quiet, appointments easy to book, and you can still do stuff on actual weekends if you want without fighting crowds. Weekends are overrated when everyone else has them off too. Sign me up.
Are you talking a 7 day work week? Or would your weekend just shift from Saturday/Sunday to Monday/Tuesday? If it's the latter, I'd do it in a heartbeat. No amount of money is worth working every single day though. Not to this guy anyway.

Oh yeah, definitely the shifted schedule; still just five days of work, two off, but your "weekend" moves to Monday-Tuesday. So you'd be grinding like Wednesday through Sunday or whatever fits the job, but you get those mid-week days completely free. No way I'd sign up for actual seven-day weeks either; that's a hard pass, money or not. Burnout city. But this version? Hell yes, the perks you mentioned plus double pay? I'm already mentally spending it.
I have no problem working Fri Sat Sun because I'd have Mon-Thu off.
Welcome to nursing!
I would absolutely take that deal. I already work most weekends anyway, where's my double pay? It might be a different situation if I had a family and weekends were our only time together. Thankfully, I am rocking the single life, and I will happily take this hypothetical big payday.
Absolutely, I’d take it! Double salary would really help with my goals. Weekends might be tough, but the financial boost is worth it for me.
