Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

You should be starting literally today
I mean, I don't know if it's necessarily ideal. I spent a lot of my 20s in debt and had to work extra hard to pay off my student loans. So I definitely got a late start as well. But I think we have to work even harder to catch up because we probably should've started in our early 20s…
At 39, you still have a solid two decades to benefit from compounding, if you stay consistent. But I wouldn’t recommend waiting until after 45 to start making serious contributions. The longer you delay, the more aggressively you'll need to save to catch up.
