It’s better to know the truth sooner rather than later.
That feels really low to me. I’m a female manager 3 in tax (different SSL) in a pretty LCOL city in the Midwest and that’s where I expect to be upon promotion to Sr Mgr this year based on where I’m at currently.
Sad that in a HCOL area a 5th year sr. Manager expects 150k. Big 4 is abysmal.
EY2, do you have a law degree? Is the SSL very specialized?
There's large expected raises?
Since October of 2019 our salary has increased 2%, employees have gone down, work has gone up, and firm performance is up. So, yes.
140k - 160k would be SM1-SM3 ... for SM4 - SM5 , it would be 175k - 210k
I think that’s reasonable. 1 year behind you and slightly below your range at the moment, so I’m expecting the raise to push me into it.

In the same group. This is about right , maybe a slight bit lower than what I would expect the range to be. However, I've always felt underpaid in the role but holding on until MD to see what those $$'s are...
