I’m 90% sure HR is using AI to scan my cover letter for keywords that have nothing to do with my actual ability to do my job. I’ve started hidden-tagging my documents with terms like synergy and transformative leadership in white text just to see if it bumps my response rate. Does anyone actually read the cover letters anymore?

I have an EBD student on my caseload who just phys assaulted a student today (they have a history). Student is being out of school suspended all next week. Any advice on alt. ways to handle this?

When my job is to handle all the corporations issues does it ever get hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel? Like that this business will survive? It will get its next round of funding? Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.

I was planning on not handing my notice in until the checks had been completed so its all secured (not that I think I will fail any checks), but apparently I need a reference from my current employer not previous ones. Can't really do this without handing in notice can I?

I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

Background: got a promotion at current company that didn't come with sufficient increase . After stating my case I was told it would be evaluated next October, which is what prompted the initial job search.

Current TC 103K [88/15], offer 125k base [+discretionary bonus].
