Please take this as a compliment that he trust your work product and does not have to babysit you.
As a fellow anxious person, I feel this. But maybe it’s the opposite and the partner trusts your work and thinks you don’t need much oversight. That being said, I’d ask for constructive feedback, not reassurance.
If you actually have a question about strategy on a case with him, send an email briefly laying out the relevant facts/law and options, telling your plan, and asking if he agrees.
Otherwise fly free.
It means youre really good. Check in when you're unsure. Ask for 15 minutes to talk about how you can improve, etc. Youre rocking it!
I second asking for advice for improving. It will give him a chance to give you feedback and confirm you’re doing great.
This is a reward, not punishment. Reward for doing well.
As others have said, this means he trusts your work. No partner is going to let you fly solo just because he doesn’t like working with you. Above everything else, he does not want to lose a client or develop a bad reputation for the firm. If he isn’t asking to review all of your work, it means he trusts you not to mess things up
