Very informed take!

I do oil and gas litigation. So it's basically commercial litigation with oil and gas industry clients. We usually represent companies. Typically the claims are related to mineral ownership, negligence or breach of contract related to drilling operations, some personal injury. My job also spills into cases before the industrial commission, usually related to penalties imposed for failure to follow statutory requirements, but also applications for permitting.

Specifics would depend on whether you are doing upstream or downstream work.

In a nutshell (from an O&G UK solicitor and UK law firm perspective), it is just various contracts dealing with distribution, exploration, construction etc. along with dealing with regulatory approvals and compliance.

If anyone else is studying, let me know and maybe we can share study materials!

For those who have taken it, are there any cheaper or alternative study materials to any official guides you would recommend? I went this route with the PHR and SHRM-SCP and passed each on the both try, so I wanted to see if that method may be viable here. Any recommended order to take courses in?
