A few k after tax is not that significant. Stay if you are happy about everything else. But you can also ask for better raise at next raise period
You may have taken too low but also that may be salary + bonus (total comp) you’re seeing on those listings. I’ve also noticed you’ll see listings that say “X firm X position $X pay” but it’s showing like SF Bay Area pay not your local pay 😅
Are the sizes of the companies similar? Even though the requirements may be the same those jobs may have higher expectations or require more hours too. Never hurts to apply and see but you need to compare more then just title if you want to compare apples to apples. Small companies have a CEO but just because they are a CEO doesn’t mean they make the same pay that the CEOs do at Apple, google, etc.
Dang I started at $50k 15 years ago, not with EY, but a smaller firm. Seems low
