Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

I like positioning things as “now / next / later” over having specific timelines when you’re planning more than 2 to 4 quarters out (especially when priorities change frequently)

Think of the roadmap as a way to organize the work rather than a strict waterfall-style timeline. There may be some dependencies, but in general expect work items to be cut or rearranged. As the work proceeds, new data or contexts discovered, shifting customer profiles or preferences (thus strategic aims), even geopolitical/economic conditions, etc. will require changes. That is expected, and it’s why we have quarterly or monthly steering/ operating committee reviews. So, wouldn’t stress on timeline, more prioritization.
