I’m black, from Midwest and didn’t know Juneteenth was a thing until about 3 years ago. Seeing all the corporate emails and social media posts about it today makes it feel more like a reaction and not genuine recognition of the history of the day.

After trying to make the shift from agency to in house for years, I just got offered a full-time digital marketing manager role at a tech company in the Bay Area! In researching salaries, the range seems huge in the Bay. Any advice on how to determine a reasonable number to bring to the table?
