I drink zero coffee and I drink zero alcohol.
I’m an enigma of the advertising world.
My advice for quitting coffee is to develop a debilitating anxiety disorder, coffee becomes pretty unappealing after that. Good luck!
Same. Was addicted. Now I get panic attacks. I live on herbal teas now and pretend ive always been wired this way.
Edit: actually you all have a problem
I have 2 coffees before even leaving the house in the morning 😂
Probably another 3-5 cups at the office, and then I try not to have any more caffeine after 12pm.
Get those numbers up, chump. I’m drinking at least 5 a day.
I have ADHD and typically have an XL Dunkin’ coffee in the morning then probably minimum 3-4 other highly caffeinated beverages throughout the day on work days, and honestly I’m pretty sure it barely registers and it’s more of a placebo lol.
Apparently, this is because caffeine’s stimulant effects are tied to boosting dopamine, and ADHD brains have atypical dopamine regulation so the “bump” that neurotypicals get from caffeine is too small to actually be meaningful. Plus our brains can become desensitized to its effects more easily, and our baseline in general is different - aka if your nervous system is already in 4th gear, caffeine is like trying to put a Vespa engine in a 747.

That’s why neurotypical people get addicted to meth, but people with ADHD actually forget to take their meds.
1 liter of diet coke a day and i'm just an intern.
ChatGPT tells me this is equivalent to two coffees a day. Not bad
I think I’m addicted to the feeling of being caffeinated and have convinced myself I need it. I was really sick for a week with intense fevers and chills. I quit caffeine during then because I knew I wouldn’t even notice the withdrawal. I’m back on with mostly tea now but I’m in a much better mental place.

I’ve been drinking one espresso drink every morning for decades (usually a latte with 2 shots). Once in a while I’ll have an extra one mid day for a pick me up. Have never felt the need to drink more than that on a regular basis. Unless it’s like a pitch or I’m in a frenetic creative state trying to make a crazy deadline or have a ton of ideas. Then I bring out the Yerba mate🧉. But that’s only maybe a few times a year.
However, if I skip all caffeine for a day, I get horrid headaches.
2-4 cups of good coffee are scientifically proven to be good for your health. But you should have a couple of weeks break from time to time to keep noticing the caffeine.
Work gives you anxiety, not coffee. Look it up, many papers about it.
2-3 double shot espressos. Not sure what that equals in cups. Love the process of making it with my old Gaggia manual machine. I don’t drink alcohol so this is my vice.
Well, in the old days it was a constant stream of marching powder, so you're doing ok.
I’m remote so I make one French press of coffee for myself (a little morning sensory ritual I picked up during Covid) and try to have my last cup by 1 pm. I find when I’m bored or tired I rely on coffee more, but other days when I’m working out in the morning and busy, I’ll only have a cup.
My keurig at home is on all day. I drink several mugs in the morning but then taper off or none. One thing is for sure, I save a pantload in coffee money.
1 pot a day
Four nespresso pods a day
Down to one cup a day in the morning and it's been beneficial to reducing stress response. My sleep has improved as well. I find nootropics more beneficial overall compared to high doses of caffeine.
Gave up caffeine in April and haven't noticed a difference. Probably the decades of residual caffeine in my system.
