I have been working as a Registered Medical Assistant for almost 8 years now. I currently am making $17.75 an hour. What is everyone else making in this filled that has been working as long as me? How would I negotiate getting a pay raise? I work for IU health and they are a large company. I feel like I am very underpaid. I have a cousin that is a medical assistant and is not certified and has only been an MA for 3 years and make $17.11. That’s only 60 some cents under me.
