Please, I am looking for ideas to motivate a virtual class. We want to set up a rewards program. However, we don’t want to reward for what the are supposed to complete. We’re looking for above and beyond. Example; helping a fellow student with technical support. We also thought of homework passes & lunch with a teacher, because we are a virtual school independent study program. We see students for a short amount of time on zoom. It takes a lot of work to set up the videos and lessons.

This bowl is a way for high school English teachers to share lesson/unit plans, activities, resources, etc.!

After 18 years, I lost my art room to a classroom this year in order to spread out kids due to Covit19. They said we can’t hand out papers.. kinda thinking art is remote for all. I generally have a few lessons in which I can use Pixar shorts to teach students how to identify and discuss literary signposts, how to identify and explain the development of theme, character traits, and other narrative elements. What are some of your favorite shorts? I am trying to incorporate activities where my students get to choose their own clips for independent practice with these skills and need a variety to draw from.
