I’m currently a public sector consultant working with state government agencies. While changes happening at the federal level haven’t flown down to our clients yet, it’s just a matter of time. An opportunity just dropped in my lap to interview with a small firm doing social impact assessments internationally for oil, gas, and mining companies. They just won a very big contract, but I’m trying to assess whether making the jump to this field is more or less risky in the long run . Thoughts?

Anyone else riding the $HIVE wave?

I have so many deadlines lined up and need to work over 15 hours each day. I am already burned out and have no motivation to work. Part of me dares me to not work and face the consequences, at the end of the day its just a job. Is it normal to feel this way? I am just not able to find the motivation to work. Anyone who has felt this way, how did you get through such situations and lack of motivation?

I'm a depressed 32 yrs old single with 8 YOE. Last drawn CTC was 5 LPA even after switching 5 companies.
When I see Ppl with 18LPA or 23LPA with 4 or 5 YOR, I really feel my gut wrench with sadness wishing I had that CTC.

Recruiter rescheduled a call thrice and then stood me up. They reached out after the call apologized with a non apology (thought our call was x pm instead…) and then proceeded to ask if I am available for a call.

Wondering where I should focus us as a services industry for big impact - we have a large product innovation, engineering area, and know in the past we've had a lot of lip service to clients and only recorded ESG for their compliance.

Hi! I’ve been in the ESG space for nearly 7 years and submitted an app for an ESG Consulting role at PwC. My app was unfortunately rejected. Now, my app is ‘under review’ in the system. Between the time of the rejection and reversal, I’ve made connections with people in the department and the role has been reopened/reposted. Should I reapply using a referral and revamped resume or just try my luck with the application that’s now ‘under review?’ I want to be sure my chances are better this time.
