Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.

I posted this somewhere else before I remembered that I am in this bowl :) so, I changed jobs 6-7 months ago and I am realizing it is not a good fit. Leadership seem to not want to hear the truth so people tell them what they want to hear and if you don’t middle management gets pissed at you. I am seriously thinking about looking somewhere else. Hi! I’ve been in the ESG space for nearly 7 years and submitted an app for an ESG Consulting role at PwC. My app was unfortunately rejected. Now, my app is ‘under review’ in the system. Between the time of the rejection and reversal, I’ve made connections with people in the department and the role has been reopened/reposted. Should I reapply using a referral and revamped resume or just try my luck with the application that’s now ‘under review?’ I want to be sure my chances are better this time.
