Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

As a recruiter it’s good to stay in the know. I ask where candidates are in process because I like them or they have had good feedback so far and I can see it turning into an offer. If I’m undercut by another place I didn’t know you were in process with I get pissed. If I knew I could speed things up or push the team to get creative in a solution and get a competing offer to you. I think it in my helps you as a candidate to let them know. Also if you like 1 over another but they don’t match salary you can say I like you more but they offered more. Can we get closer to that? Then have some negotiation power.
