I’m currently w/a firm in FL, but completely WFH. I’m feeling stuck in my role, under appreciated, and I know I’m under paid, but for me to move up and on, it’s looking like I’d need to make the move to NYC and probably return to an office, at least part time, based off my interviews. Opinions welcome from everyone - is it worth it? Giving up the weather, lower cost of living, convenience, and WFH life to progress in the industry and make more money? Work environment is great, friendly and multicultural but I don't like the job at all.
Personal life is not so nice since I manage to see my family and gf every 30/45 days only. Colleagues have their own lives and at the end we don't hang out much.
My dilemma is:
A) going back to Italy at a lower salary with less growth opps but better personal life or
B) Switching my job here and hold on
