I'm currently working as an armed security guard but I also have experience with juveniles as an correctional officer and I would love to find a job to get into PI work. How do I go about doing that because just about every job I come across they want experienced private investigator ?

Try hiring yourself out as a PI. You don't have to work for a company. If you feel you'd like the corporate setting, the experience and client list would help down the line.

Digistream is great company to look into. I worked there for a time and enjoyed it during Covid.

Study and take the state exam. Make sure you are qualified before sitting the exam. Then you can freelance as a PI. Conversely, work for an attorney.

Hi Folks,

I've got a job offer from a small IT company. But before releasing the offer letter, they want me to accept a terms and conditions form which has this 10th point as shown in picture. It states failing to join them will result in paying 2 months of salary that's around 130000 rs.

Is it for real? If I get a better offer somewhere else ane don't join them, will I really have to pay this to them? Please help friends. What should I do?

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? TIA!
